USING ANDROID DEVICE
Currently, most of organization are still using the manual system which is native recorded by hand by their workers. This may sometime lead to the situation where the worker forgot to update the stock and will cause of time wasted as they have to wait for stock ordering when it is in need. One more problem faced by current system is, the device used to take the inventory stock have to be brought anywhere and anytime by the worker. If the worker did not bring the device, the stock could not be updated to the database. The proposed system of using mobile device will lower the problem of the current system.

In this globalisation era, people are using mobile devices almost all the time. So, when the application is developed by using mobile devices platform, this will maximize the usage of mobile devices and ease the workers’ job. The proposed system could also remind the person-in-charge of the remaining stock as it needed to be ordered or not. Lastly, the system will use barcode scanner from mobile phone to automatically update the data in inventory database. The person-in-charge also can monitor the movement of the stock as the stock will be updated online to the database. The success of this product could eventually change the future usage of inventory system.

INTRODUCTION
Inventory Management System(IMS) is a system where a store can input their stock for tracking inventories, sales and purchasing new orders. Nowadays, many companies use the system to avoid overstock, miscount in stock taking, and outages. It is a system for organizing a better inventory data than that was used before which is generally stored in manual form books or in spreadsheets. Companies uses barcode for easily managing their products and reducing their carrying cost. Some features available for some IMS are order management where minimum stock for reordering products by manager is shown in the system, asset tracking where through barcode, the item could be tracked in real-time and the person responsible for the products will be notified and also product identification by using the barcode, the product could easily be identified for future use and lastly the inventory optimization where minimum stock should trigger the manager in charge for reordering, the order quantity, based on how often the stock is used and providing forecast of accuracy for marketing plans.

There are many advantages of IMS which also include, saving the expenses by reducing the number of unnecessary products in storage, organizing store by popular demands item to be placed near the delivery area for speed up the process of picking and also updating data in real time wherever the managers could access the software online.
